Key Control Points for Steel Structure Supervision Standing

(1) Prior to construction, supervisors shall inspect the incoming materials (steel, high-strength bolts). All materials must have factory quality certificates and pass on-site sampling and testing before use. Welding rods, wires, and fluxes must meet specified requirements.
(2) Verify the technical qualification certificates of fabrication and installation welders to ensure all personnel hold valid certifications.
(3) During cutting, reserve allowances for weld shrinkage, machining, and cutting according to process specifications, as well as compression deformation values for columns under load.
(4) Prevent twisting and ensure accurate camber during component assembly.
(5) Strictly implement preheating for carbon structural steel >50mm thick and low-alloy structural steel >36mm thick, followed by post-heating after welding.
(6) Weld quality inspection shall include dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and internal defects. Conduct non-destructive testing according to drawing requirements for weld quality grade and defect classification.
(7) Before column installation, thoroughly inspect the offset between anchor bolts and the axis position.
(8) Check verticality of single-story columns, elevation deviation of column tops within the same layer, and misalignment values at column splices.
(9) Xinguangzheng Steel Structure components must have product quality acceptance reports and certificates before delivery to the site. After the installation department conducts finished product inspection, supervisors shall focus on verifying:
Completeness of assembly connection parts on components
Headed studs for steel-concrete connections
Pre-set rebar holes.
