2025-07-10    60

  1. Qualified Personnel: The fireproof spray protection for Xinguangzheng steel structures must be carried out by trained and qualified professional construction teams. Safety procedures and labor protection requirements during construction shall comply with relevant national regulations.

  2. Pre-construction Conditions: Construction of fireproof coatings may only commence after the steel structure is installed in position, and all connected components (including hangers, catwalks, pipe racks, and other related elements) are installed and have passed inspection.

  3. Surface Preparation: Prior to construction, the steel surface must be derusted. Rust prevention treatment shall be determined based on usage requirements. Derusting and rust prevention must comply with the relevant provisions of the current "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Steel Structure Projects".

  4. Surface Cleanliness & Gap Filling: All debris on the steel surface must be thoroughly cleaned. Gaps at connection points must be filled and leveled with fireproof coating or other suitable fireproof materials before construction begins.

  5. Construction Sequence & Protection: Application of fireproof coatings should occur after the main steel erection but before interior finishing work begins, and under conditions where the coating will not be damaged by subsequent work. Areas and objects not requiring fire protection must be masked off. Freshly applied coatings must be protected from contamination by dirt/liquids and mechanical impact.

  6. Environmental Conditions: During application and until the coating is completely dry and cured, the ambient temperature should be maintained between 5°C and 38°C (41°F and 100°F), with relative humidity not exceeding 90%. Adequate air circulation is required. Work should not proceed if wind speed exceeds 5 m/s (11 mph), during rainy conditions, or if condensation forms on the member surfaces.
